The work Two Standing Figures, One Holding A Staff In His Left Hand by Aurelio Luini was sold in the The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 34,000.00 (€ 22,909.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aurelio Luini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A hermit contemplating a crucifix, with studies of putti and a head in profile in July 2004 with an auction result of GBP 83,650.00 (€ 126,413.56).

Die Arbeit Two Standing Figures, One Holding A Staff In His Left Hand von Aurelio Luini wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 34.000,00 (€ 22.909,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
