Admittedly, works by Aurelio Luini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A hermit contemplating a crucifix, with studies of putti and a head in profile in July 2004 with an auction result of GBP 83,650.00 (€ 126,413.56).
