Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 41,812.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Rodin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Éternel Printemps in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 20,410,000.00 (€ 18,329,591.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 41.812,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Rodin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Éternel Printemps im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.410.000,00 (€ 18.329.591,38).
