Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
The work Soleil couchant by Auguste Chabaud was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 2,520.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Chabaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme À L'Étole De Fourrure in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Soleil couchant von Auguste Chabaud wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.520,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Chabaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme À L'Étole De Fourrure im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
