This artwork by Auguste Chabaud achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in June this year. In the Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion auction, the work La mère et ses trois enfants sold for EUR 5,376.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Chabaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme À L'Étole De Fourrure in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Auguste Chabaud erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion wurde die Arbeit La mère et ses trois enfants für EUR 5.376,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Chabaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme À L'Étole De Fourrure im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
