Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La lampe et le damier by Auguste Chabaud was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2015. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 689.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Chabaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme À L'Étole De Fourrure in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).

Die Arbeit La lampe et le damier von Auguste Chabaud kam im Februar 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 689,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Chabaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme À L'Étole De Fourrure im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
