The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,044.08), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Asher Brown Durand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Stream in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 967,500.00 (€ 861,071.56).
