In the 19th Century American & Western Art auction, the work Landscape changed hands for USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,360.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Asher Brown Durand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Stream in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 967,500.00 (€ 861,071.56).
