In November this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Marknad i Concarneau" by Arvid Fougstedt. The result of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,634.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arvid Fougstedt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Stilleben med fiol" (Still life with violin) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 20,352.29).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Marknad i Concarneau" von Arvid Fougstedt zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.634,76) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arvid Fougstedt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Stilleben med fiol" (Still life with violin) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 20.352,29).
