The »bidding war« ended at SEK 165,000.00 (€ 15,554.31), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Arvid Fougstedt have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 20,352.29) in October 2012 for the work "Stilleben med fiol" (Still life with violin).
