Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A family portrait. by Arvid Fougstedt was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019. The price achieved of SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,084.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arvid Fougstedt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Stilleben med fiol" (Still life with violin) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 20,352.29).

Die Arbeit A family portrait. von Arvid Fougstedt kam im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.084,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arvid Fougstedt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Stilleben med fiol" (Still life with violin) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 20.352,29).
