Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Refitting at Cormack harbour (illustrated); and A quiet day on the estuary by Arthur Wilde Parsons was sold in the Maritime & Naval Battles (Pictures) auction at Christies in London in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,059.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Wilde Parsons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Towing out the tramp in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 13,447.05).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Refitting at Cormack harbour (illustrated); and A quiet day on the estuary von Arthur Wilde Parsons wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Maritime & Naval Battles (Pictures) bei Christies in London versteigert.
