Auction result misses estimated price range

In December 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Barges and other shipping on the Thames at Deptford by Arthur Wilde Parsons for USD 657.25 (€ 485.49). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Wilde Parsons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Towing out the tramp in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 13,447.05).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Dezember 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Barges and other shipping on the Thames at Deptford von Arthur Wilde Parsons für USD 657,25 (€ 485,49) erwerben.
