Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arthur Percy could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Sale auction, the work Still life with flowers and shell changed hands for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,540.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Percy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Haga grindar", which sold at auction in November 2021 for SEK 115,000.00 (€ 11,217.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Percy konnte im April 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Sale wechselte die Arbeit Still life with flowers and shell für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.540,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Percy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Haga grindar" beobachtet, die im November 2021 für SEK 115.000,00 (€ 11.217,77) versteigert wurde.
