Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The New Family by Arthur Heyer was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 525.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Heyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A family of cats at play in February 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,363.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The New Family von Arthur Heyer kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 525,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Heyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A family of cats at play im Februar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.363,78).
