The work Daisies by Arthur Hacker was sold in the Victorian, Pre Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in March 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,295.32), 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Hacker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musicienne du Silence in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 77,675.00 (€ 111,623.20).

Die Arbeit Daisies von Arthur Hacker wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Victorian, Pre Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.295,32) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Hacker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musicienne du Silence im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 77.675,00 (€ 111.623,20).
