Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arthur Hacker could be acquired at Christies in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction, the work The Poppy Field changed hands for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,090.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Hacker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musicienne du Silence in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 77,675.00 (€ 111,623.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Hacker konnte im September 2021 bei Christies für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection wechselte die Arbeit The Poppy Field für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.090,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Hacker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musicienne du Silence im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 77.675,00 (€ 111.623,20).
