Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Pair Ruffed Grouse And Young by Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,806.16). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house.
