The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,170.00 59% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arnout Colnot; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Path through a mountainous landscape sold at auction in May 2002 with the realized price of EUR 8,962.50.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.170,00 und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Arnout Colnot; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Path through a mountainous landscape im Mai 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 8.962,50.
