Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of Palisades from Manhattan by Arnold Aaron Friedman was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 12,000.00 (€ 8,972.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnold Aaron Friedman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstraction, which sold at auction in May 2005 for USD 43,200.00 (€ 34,982.59).
