The price achieved of USD 4,788.00 (€ 4,086.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arnold Aaron Friedman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstraction in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 43,200.00 (€ 34,982.59).
