Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Nova" by Arne Jones was sold in the Modern Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2014. The price achieved of SEK 28,000.00 (€ 3,102.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arne Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November last year for SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,748.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Nova" von Arne Jones wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Modern Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 28.000,00 (€ 3.102,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Arne Jones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.748,23) versteigert wurde.
