Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work "Portal åtbörd" by Arne Jones for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,932.71). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arne Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November last year for SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,748.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Portal åtbörd" von Arne Jones für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.932,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arne Jones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.748,23) versteigert wurde.
