Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vasily Modonov by Arkady Plastov was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arkady Plastov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Stepan Nazarov in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vasily Modonov von Arkady Plastov kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arkady Plastov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Stepan Nazarov im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 51.109,44).
