Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Girl by Arkady Plastov for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,391.96). This price was achieved in the auction Art of the Soviet Union at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Arkady Plastov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Stepan Nazarov in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Girl von Arkady Plastov für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.391,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art of the Soviet Union bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arkady Plastov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Stepan Nazarov im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 51.109,44).
