Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Celebration by Arifien Neif was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,284.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 75,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arifien Neif have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Procession in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 51,476.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Celebration von Arifien Neif kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.284,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arifien Neif auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Procession im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 51.476,46).
