Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bathroom Scene by Arifien Neif was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,390.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 65,000.00 – 85,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arifien Neif have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Procession in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 51,476.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bathroom Scene von Arifien Neif kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.390,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 65.000,00 – 85.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arifien Neif auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Procession im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 51.476,46).
