Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mar Dala by Arifien Neif was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,162.94). Admittedly, works by Arifien Neif have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Procession in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 51,476.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mar Dala von Arifien Neif wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.162,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arifien Neif auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Procession im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 51.476,46).
