Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Cagnes sur Mer: a view of the harbour at Cagnes by Arie Zwart for EUR 478.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arie Zwart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cagnes sur Mer: a view of the harbour at Cagnes von Arie Zwart für EUR 478,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arie Zwart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.640,00.
