This artwork by Arie Zwart achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. In the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Boerderij bij Nieuwkoop sold for EUR 1,762.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arie Zwart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 5,640.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arie Zwart erzielte im Januar 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Boerderij bij Nieuwkoop für EUR 1.762,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arie Zwart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 5.640,00 versteigert wurde.
