Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Birches in spring by Arie Zwart was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 836.50. Admittedly, works by Arie Zwart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,640.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Birches in spring von Arie Zwart kam im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 836,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arie Zwart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.640,00.
