Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Birches and broom on the heath by Arie Zwart for EUR 780.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Arie Zwart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Birches and broom on the heath von Arie Zwart für EUR 780,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arie Zwart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.640,00.
