Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Arrival by Apollinari Mikhailovich Vasnetsov was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2002, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,912.00 (€ 1,935.03). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Apollinari Mikhailovich Vasnetsov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Veliky Novgorod in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 848,750.00 (€ 963,457.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Arrival von Apollinari Mikhailovich Vasnetsov im Oktober 2002 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.912,00 (€ 1.935,03) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Apollinari Mikhailovich Vasnetsov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Veliky Novgorod im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 848.750,00 (€ 963.457,51).
