Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Bevitore by Antonio Marasco was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 24,750.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Marasco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Potenza Meccanica, which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 75,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Bevitore von Antonio Marasco im November 2012 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 24.750,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Marasco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Potenza Meccanica beobachtet, die im November 2013 für EUR 75.900,00 versteigert wurde.
