Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Antonio Marasco achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in May 2010. In the Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection auction, the work Finestra Sulla Città sold for EUR 35,550.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Marasco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Potenza Meccanica, which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 75,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Marasco erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Finestra Sulla Città für EUR 35.550,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Marasco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Potenza Meccanica beobachtet, die im November 2013 für EUR 75.900,00 versteigert wurde.
