Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work H.M.S. Cruizer under sail in the bay of Naples (illustrated); and H.M.S. Cruizer under reduced rig riding out the storm by Antonio de Simone. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,025.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Antonio de Simone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Royal Thames Yacht Club schooner Marchesa: In Neapolitan waters (illustrated); and In heavy weather in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 7,171.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit H.M.S. Cruizer under sail in the bay of Naples (illustrated); and H.M.S. Cruizer under reduced rig riding out the storm von Antonio de Simone zur Versteigerung kam.
