Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Enchantment by Antonio Corpora was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,290.90), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Corpora - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Mare ai Faraglioni“., which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 60,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Enchantment von Antonio Corpora wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.290,90) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Corpora mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Mare ai Faraglioni“. beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 60.000,00 versteigert wurde.
