The result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,737.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anton Corbijn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 44,100.00.

Die Arbeit "22:U2", 1982-2003. von Anton Corbijn wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.737,69) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Corbijn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.100,00.
