In January 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work The Spoils Of War by Antoine Vollon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,874.07), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Vollon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French boats On An Estuary, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,286.11).

Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Spoils Of War von Antoine Vollon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.874,07) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Vollon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French boats On An Estuary beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.286,11) versteigert wurde.
