Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Antoine Vollon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in May last year. In the European Fine Living auction, the work A corner of the connoisseur's collection sold for USD 12,750.00 (€ 11,881.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Antoine Vollon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot French boats On An Estuary sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,286.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antoine Vollon erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Fine Living wurde die Arbeit A corner of the connoisseur's collection für USD 12.750,00 (€ 11.881,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Antoine Vollon; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit French boats On An Estuary im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.286,11).
