Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A jug with oranges and a silver salver by Antoine Vollon. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,632.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Vollon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French boats On An Estuary, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,286.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A jug with oranges and a silver salver von Antoine Vollon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.632,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Vollon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French boats On An Estuary beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.286,11) versteigert wurde.
