It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Vollon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French boats On An Estuary in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,286.11).

Die Arbeit Bassine De Cuivre von Antoine Vollon wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
