In May 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Pots, vegetables and game by Antoine Vollon. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,687.10) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Vollon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French boats On An Estuary in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,286.11).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pots, vegetables and game von Antoine Vollon zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.687,10) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Vollon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French boats On An Estuary im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.286,11).
