Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Création linéaire by Antoine Pevsner. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 77,500.00 (€ 87,546.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Pevsner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deux cônes dans un même plan in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 788,750.00 (€ 891,001.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Création linéaire von Antoine Pevsner zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 77.500,00 (€ 87.546,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Pevsner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deux cônes dans un même plan im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 788.750,00 (€ 891.001,35).
