A top price for Antoine Mortier
When this work without title by Antoine Mortier was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2012, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 2,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at EUR 8,125.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Antoine Mortier that we have observed at auctions so far.
