Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Antoine Mortier was sold in the Contemporary Art & Belgian Art Online auction at Bonhams in Brussels in October this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 768.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Mortier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Antoine Mortier wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Belgian Art Online bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 768,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Mortier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
