Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cheval Turc No. 3 by Antoine-Louis Barye was sold in the Oeuvres Modernes sur papier / Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction at Christies in Paris in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 5,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine-Louis Barye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Angélique Et Roger, Montés Sur L'Hippogriffe (Bouche Fermée) [Seconde Version|AID1005825] in February 2016 with an auction result of EUR 237,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cheval Turc No. 3 von Antoine-Louis Barye wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Oeuvres Modernes sur papier / Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine-Louis Barye erzielen.
