Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Park view by Anthony Gross for DKK 1,300.00 (€ 174.52). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 1,500.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A large collection of etchings, circa 1955 to 1976, on wove and laid paper, each signed and titled in pencil, each with full margins, in varying conditions, most in excellent overall condition in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,380.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Park view von Anthony Gross für DKK 1.300,00 (€ 174,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A large collection of etchings, circa 1955 to 1976, on wove and laid paper, each signed and titled in pencil, each with full margins, in varying conditions, most in excellent overall condition im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.380,46).
