Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Territorial, 2010 by Anthony Goicolea for USD 375.00 (€ 285.17). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Goicolea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stigmata in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,323.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Territorial, 2010 von Anthony Goicolea für USD 375,00 (€ 285,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Goicolea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stigmata im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.323,06).
