In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art auction, the work Dion William Palgrave Clayton Calthrop, aged eight sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,997.77) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British love'S Shadow in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 494,500.00 (€ 343,976.07).
