In September 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work No. 31 And Pink Squares: Two Works by Anne Ryan. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,778.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne Ryan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (No. 234) signed 'A. Ryan' (lower right); signed again, titled and dated 'No. 234 3-5-49 A. Ryan' (on the backing board) printed paper, string, metallic paper, watercolor, ink and glue collage on paper 7 x 5½ in. (17.7 x 13.9 cm., which sold at auction in January 2009 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,572.63).

Im September 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit No. 31 And Pink Squares: Two Works von Anne Ryan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.778,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anne Ryan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (No. 234) signed 'A. Ryan' (lower right); signed again, titled and dated 'No. 234 3-5-49 A. Ryan' (on the backing board) printed paper, string, metallic paper, watercolor, ink and glue collage on paper 7 x 5½ in.
